The leading provider of payment integration technology in Australia, PC-EFTPOS, has rebranded to Linkly as part of a larger expansion plan, following the recent acquisition by Potentia Capital.

Along with a new name, logo and website – the company has updated a number of its payment products and services and streamlined processes to aid its merchant base to focus on their business growth. The company is also continuing to develop its technology, people and approach to innovation.

The last couple of years has seen the payment market rapidly expand. To meet this growing demand, Linkly’s innovative technology allows payment terminals to integrate with retailer point of sale (POS) systems. With the growing prominence of services like Alipay, Afterpay and WeChat Pay, all of which are integrated to the Linkly technology, the number of transactions across Australia is set to soar in 2020. And with Linkly’s prevalence in the market, this means that if a consumer has swiped or tapped their card at any retailer in Australia or New Zealand, they have likely used a Linkly payment solution.

Talking about the rebrand, Linkly CEO, Anthony Chalhoub, commented: “We needed a fresh brand that echoed our vision for the future and our continued expansion plans. Our new brand encapsulates our continuing focus on technology, innovation, excellence and dedication to the payment market.

“It’s an exciting time for innovation in Australia and it was recently ranked 8th in the world, in the fintech sector, by the Global Fintech Index City Rankings 2020. As the market continues to grow, we look forward to being a key figure in its expansion,” said Mr Chalhoub.

For over 20 years, Linkly has been a leader in payment integration solutions working with small businesses, banking institutions and major retailers, such as Woolworths, David Jones, Myer, and JB HiFi. In 2019, the company securely handled over two billion transactions across Australia.
