Austin, Texas, April 15, 2019  – Abrigo, the leading technology provider of compliance, credit risk, and lending solutions for community financial institutions, announced the company’s innovative product roadmap for 2019 improvements to its Bank Secrecy Act and anti-money laundering (BSA/AML) and fraud prevention software. The roadmap was unveiled at the BAM+ User Group Conference, which concluded last Wednesday in Austin, Texas.

Abrigo highlighted three themes within the product improvements planned this year:

  1. Streamline and simplify the user experience – fewer clicks, more automation
  2. Empower self-service report building and data visualization
  3. Transform industry-leading desktop apps to next-generation web-based apps

While these changes will be rolled out during quarterly releases in 2019, attendees at the User Group Conference were excited to see what is coming. Most notably, the efficiency enhancements garnered the most attention. In 2019, the BAM+ software will gain:

• Direct e-filing with FinCEN, which saves banks and credit unions time on each SAR and CTR

• Integrated watchlist scanning directly within BAM+, making it easier and faster to scan against published watch lists (e.g., OFAC, PEP)

• Automatic risk rating with Due Diligence Manager, saving banks from manually assigning risk ratings to portfolios

Dave McCann, the company’s Chief Technology Officer, was at the conference for the rollout and said, “Our community bank and credit union customers are at the center of our product roadmap decisions, and many of our 2019 enhancements are inspired by our customer discovery methodology. Our research, conversations, prototyping, and testing drives conversations and a rapid feedback cycle to build products customers love.”

“The fraud and money laundering landscape is constantly changing, and we realize we have to keep pace – and outrun – the criminals that our banks and credit unions are fighting,” added McCann. “We’re committed to helping our institutions make big things happen, so you’ll see us doing the same this year in our products.”

As these improvements are released in 2019, clients will receive advance notification for user acceptance testing (UAT) and online training.
