Raleigh, N.C., April 9, 2018 – Sageworks, a financial information company that provides lending, credit risk and portfolio risk solutions to banks and credit unions, announced this week that author Kevin Brown will be the keynote speaker for the 2018 Lending & Risk Summit, set to take place September 24-26 in Chicago, Illinois. Brown will address leadership in the institution, specifically the Hero Effect and how it can impact productivity.

Brown is a highly sought-after speaker and author, whose unconventional path to business and personal success taught him that winning in business and in life requires unconventional thinking. Kevin is on a mission to help organizations embrace a simple philosophy that separates world class organizations and high performance people from everybody else. He is passionate about helping people expand their vision, develop their potential and grow their results. This September, Brown will use his diverse life and leadership experience to deliver a powerful address with immediate, actionable takeaways around The Hero Effect: How to Be Your Best When It Matters the Most.

While financial institutions professionals must navigate a constantly changing landscape and feel pressure to grow and compete, Brown’s message is meant to motivate, inspire and equip participants to make a positive difference. The program is designed to help attendees: • Achieve greater results by eliminating “ordinary" thinking and mastering the habit of excellence • Own the moments that matter by taking responsibility for their attitude, their actions and their results • Create meaningful relationships and deliver an extraordinary experience for every “customer” at work and at home

In addition to this motivational keynote, the Summit’s agenda will also cover the full life of the loan – spanning business development through portfolio management for banks and credit unions. The Summit will feature presentations from industry leaders, panels and peer roundtables to cover hot-button topics, as well as Banker Appreciation Night at the Chicago Sports Museum.

Early-bird registration for the Summit is open until April 13, saving registrants as much as $300 per person. For more information or to register, visit sageworks.com/summit or email events@sageworks.com.
